The European Data Protection Board (EDPB) has published a final version of ‘Guidelines 3/2018 on the territorial scope of the GDPR’. The guidelines, initially adopted by the EDPB on 16 November 2018, have been updated in light of a public consultation held between November 2018 and January 2019.
Guidelines looks at teritorial scope from establishment and targeting criteria. They also address the appointment and functions of representatives.
